Kestrel is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead one of its product engineering teams in India. A hands-on leadership role on our India team, hiring India-based engineers. What you'll do - Lead and grow a team of 6–8 engineers across backend and frontend - Own delivery: planning, execution, and quality for your squad - Coach engineers through 1:1s, feedback, and career growth - Partner with Product and Design on the roadmap - Keep architecture decisions pragmatic and scalable What we're looking for - 2+ years managing engineers, plus a strong IC background - Experience shipping web products at scale - Excellent communication; based in India (IST) - A bias for mentorship over heroics Location & logistics Remote within India with periodic in-person meetups anywhere in India.
